Organization of Health), the Honey is the most complete food of the
nature, offering more than 70 essential substances to our organism.
Unlike the commercial sugar that it is
processed with a lot of chemistry, the Honey is a compound of simple
sugars that are absorbed directly in the blood flow promoting immediate
energy to the organism
Why Pure Brazilian Safe
Honey?
Honey bees originate from the European
Continent. They were brought to the American continent by Italian and
German immigrants in the late 19th century to beginning of the 20th
Century. Since the beginning of the 20th century, new techniques to
increase the number of bee-hives and the quality and production of honey
have been developed, as well as creating a new selection of bees which
are more productive. With this innovation, world production of honey has
increased many folds.
The possibility to transport bee-hives from one location to another in
order to maximize the use of flower blossom of each region at their
correct times, as well as the introduction of new queen bees produced in
each of these different regions to produce better quality honey has also
provoked the emergence and dissemination of diseases into the world's
bee population.
The control of these diseases has thus provoked intensive use of
antibiotics and the use of other products as remedies for the bees.
These products, often used, in various applications and in an inadequate
way, have had caused the contamination of bee products, mainly the honey.
China, the world's largest producer and exporter of honey, has recently
been banned from exporting its bee by products because of contamination,
initially by the European community then by the USA and in many other
countries, through the use of the antibiotic chloramphenicol which
provokes infectious anemia in humans. Honey produced in Argentina, the
world's second exporter of this product, has also been detected with
residues of nitrofurans, a substance used to control acarus spread
worldwide.
The world main honey-producing-bees are those most commonly known as
Italian bees.
In 1957, in an experiment realized in Brazil with African bees which was
supposed to increase the productivity of bees in Brazil, by accident
these bees were set free and cross-bred with local bees which then
provoked the africanization of the whole countries bee population.
Initially, because of the aggressiveness of these bees, the whole of the
apiculture of the country was destroyed. With
time and because of cross-breeding once more with some other local bees
which still remained in Brazil, a new type of bee was created, commonly
know as Africanized HoneyBees. These bees, more aggressive than the
Italian bees, have proved more productive and have the great advantage
of being sturdier and more resistant to diseases which have appeared in
today's world. This high resistance permits Brazil to produce honey and
bee by-products without the use of any form of chemical or antibiotic
control.
Brazil has also large areas for honey
production, and practically untouched by man, without using agriculture
or chemical fertilizers, and of course without any use of pesticides or
other chemical products.
These two aspects guarantee the quality of the honey as organic, in
other words, free from chemicals and other compounds: SAFE HONEY.
Honey is used principally by children and people with infirmities,
exactly the people with a predisposition to have problems in using
contaminated honey.
Beware of contaminated honey; use Uniflora's Pure Brazilian Safe
Honey.
Way of using: In agreement with the
organic need. Each individual's intestinal function is that regulates
the amount of Honey to be ingested daily.
Uniflora works basically
with 3 kinds of honey: orange blossom, eucalyptus blossom and wild
flower blossom. The honey used has a strict control of origin and
quality. Uniflora checks and analyses all lots of honey to verify
humidity, acidity, presence or addition of commercial sugars, HMF (hidroximethilfurfural
acid), color, taste and
contamination. In the processing, all equipment was specially
made in stainless steel in order to guarantee the maximum hygiene and
purity of our honey line. |
