NATURAL COUGH SYRUP HONEY, POMEGRANATE,

The pomegranate, besides nutritive, is an excellent agent against inflammations of the mouth, gums and throat, and eucalyptus a well-known anti-septic of the respiratory ways, and propolis, a natural anti bacterial. The presence of honey gives this product a pleasant taste and helps the organism with its various ingredients.
Punica granatum, more popularly known as the pomegranate tree, was known in Egypt in about 2500 A. C. It reacts against mouth inflammations, gum and throat allergies, thrush, raucousness, sore throat, intestinal parasites and diarrhea.
Propolis is a resinous and balsamic substance, and it
has different types of colorations and consistencies, varying to brown color to dark green. It is
produced by the bees from leave sprouts and exudates of plants, and used inside
the beehive, " to fix " comb honey, to lacquer the alveoli, to close breaches
to avoid the entrance of cold wind and natural
enemies: fungus and bacteria
The chemical composition of propolis depends on the botanic ecology of each region. Until now, more than 200 chemical compounds have been identified in propolis, such as flavonoids, aromatic acids and terpenoids, aldeids, alcohols, aliphatic and ester acids, amino acids, steroids, sugars etc. Intense studies with propolis suggest these compounds are responsible for their diverse physiological actions.
Eucalyptus globulus , more popularly known as eucalyptus, is originally of Australia. This aromatic herb also serves as a stimulant, descongestionant and expectorant, and can be used externally in inhalations to treat catarrh, bronchitis, sinusitis, colds and influenzas.
The honey is produced by bees from the nectar in flowers. It is a rich, nutritive food, which presents mainly sugars in its composition, of rapid assimilation by the organism, together with mineral salts (potassium, sodium, calcium, phosphorus, iron, manganese, etc.) amino-acids, enzymes and vitamins. It has the following properties: expectorant, fluidity, a healing process and as an anti-septic.

Consulted literature suggests that the recommended dosage of honey, pomegranate, propolis and eucalyptus does not produce any collateral effects.
Adults: 1 soup-spoon, 3 times a day.
